Premier League Darts

Premier League Darts is a weekly darts tournament run through the PDC and shown live on SKY Sports and SKY Sports HD.
The tournament features the top 8 players from the PDC and is run on 14 league nights from February to May. They all compete for the £125,000 first prize.

Premier League Darts Format

The premier league darts tournament is a round robin format with each player playing the other 7 players twice. Each match has a home and away player indicating who will throw first.
Each match is the best of 14 legs of 501. The winner is first to 8 legs.
Two points are awarded for the win, 1 for a draw and none for a loss.
The playoffs consist of the top four players in the league table after the 14 league nights.

Who qualifies to play in the Premier League Darts?

The top four players in the PDC Order of Merit are automatically selected. Four additional wild card selections from sponsors, PDC and Sky make up the final four places.

How much do they all win?

The total prize fund is £400,000. The winner walks away with a very decent £125,000 and the plucky loser pockets £65,000.
